In my opinion, nail polish is a very important part of an outfit, a necessary accessory that gives a spark to your personality, a pop of color to your hands and appearance. I am a girl who constantly changes nail polish colors, experiments with different styles, and color combinations.

Summer is in full swing with its hot days and coolish nights which bring so much fun. Admit it to youself, summer gives us a chance to go all out on colors, experiment with different shades, and choose ridiculously bright and funky ones.

So what does the nail polish obsession and summer give us?

Yes, Yes, and Yes. The neon colors are wildly in right now. Starting from shoes, to clothes, to accessories, to make up and beauty products, neon colors rule the season. In this blog, I want to bring to your attention, my list of favorite colors for this summer that go with bright outfits and add a little flare to more neutral colors. Here’s a list of my Summer 2012 nail polish favorites (From left to right as shown in the main picture):

This is the list of my summer favorites. I also try using this colors together doing ombre. Try an orange like the Wet n Wild, Club Havana and Essie’s Lights. Another great ombre style is chosing a certain color and painting your nails each one shade lighter. Turns out amazing.

Yet Another Bath and Body Haul!

About a week ago one of my co-workers was telling us how she went to Bath and Body works and purchased a lot of new products because of the amazing sale that they had! I, of course being the crazy obsessed lover of Bath and Body, decided to find out what sale was going on in the stores. I went to their web site and realized that I completely forgot about their SEMI-ANNUAL 75% sale! Needless to say that I ran to the store the next day.

After spending hours and hours in the store, I came out with a bag of new goodies that I needed some restocking on. Here is the list of the items that I purchased while at the store:

Shower Gels (Note-the full size shower gels were only $3!)

Butterfly Flower – Vibrant and feminine fragrance of a butterfly garden in full bloom

Rays of Citrus- A clean and refreshing burst of lime zest and white tea blossom with a hint of ginger

Dancing Waters- A refreshing scent inspired by cool water flowing through a field of flowers

Anti-Bacterial Hand Soaps (The full size hand soaps were $3!)

Paris Amour- Deep Cleansing, Fruity, Sweet

Warm Vanilla Sugar- Deep Cleansing, Sweet, Vanilla

Anti-Bacterial Hand Gels (The regular deal of 5 for $5!)

Mango Berry Sparkler- Fruity

Pink Chiffon (Bought 2, my current favorite) - Has a little shimmer in it, Sweet, Fresh

Vanilla Berry Sorbet- Vanilla+ Berries= Amazingness

I <3 Watermelon! Apple- Fruity, Sweet

In terms of the shower gels, I usually go for sweet scents that usually have either vanilla or coconut in them; however, this time I decided to get clean, fresh, citrusy scents for summer. I am loving the Rays of Citrus for its refreshing and tangy scent.  The shower gels by Bath and Body never disappoint. They always last a long time as well as leave my skin soft and glowing every time.

The hand soaps is something that I recently started using. I really like how they smell and make my skin feel; however, instead of using that as hand soap, I use it as a face cleanser in the shower! Works amazing for me.

The hand gels, I will never tire talking about. They always make my hands smell divine, give them softness, and of course keep them clean!

Off Topic Steamy Fun!

Off Topic Fun!!!!

As I go along with my blogging, you will find out that I am a hopeless bookworm. I LOVE books!!! Doesn’t matter if you give me a Dostoyesvky classic or a steamy short romance novel or an action packed fiction;  I will grab it by both hands. With my little introduction made, I would like to talk about book series that EVERYONE talks about! Yes, you guessed it! 50 Shades of Grey!!!!

If you haven’t read the series, this blog might have spoilers for you! If you haven’t read it, get to it!

I’ve started reading the book a little before it became viral. There are three books in the series, and all three books revolve around the main characters, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steel.

Let me start off by saying that these series are simply amazing. If you are one of those people that gets their kick of romance out of books like this one, this book is for you. It is packed with lots and lots of love, sex, and mystery. It is absolutely amazing to read about their relationship, their ups and downs, and their spats and make up scenes. Your inner hopeless romantic will fall in love with Grey and the way he adores and treats Anastasia.

The book is a very light read; however, it teaches about human relationships. It shows that no relationship is easy. You have happy and sad moments, you have two different personalities trying to adapt to each other, you have complications and hardships that you have to overcome together.

With all this being said, pick up the book, get a smoothie or a cocktail, and enjoy the books!

 Bath and Body Obsession!

I'm sure that a lot of us experience that crazy mad urge to buy the store up the minute we enter. The enticing smells, the colorful displays, the awesome sales and offers! I have the biggest collection of Bath and Body products both at home and at work. You will find some kind of a product ( lotion, anti-bacterial gels, candles) in my desks, bags, shelves!

I usually do my biggest purchases around Christmas when they have their awesome sales. However, during the year I occasionally zoom around the store for new products or just to pick up some products that I run out on.

A week ago I went to the store to pick up some anti-bacterial gels because I ran out!!! First of, let me start by saying that they always have the awesome deal of 5 anti-bacterial gels ( the mini size - PocketBac) for $5. They come up with new smells every season. This time I picked up some of my all time favorites as well as the current seasonal new gels. There are as follows:

1. BeeNice ( Honey Berry)

2. Caribbean Escape ( Coconuts and wild orchids)

3. Warm Vanilla Sugar ( Simply Vanilla, All Time Favorite!!!)

4. Japanese Cherry Blossom ( Another Favorite)

5. I love you Bouquet ( Berry Mix, very refreshing sweet scent)

The second set of products that I picked up was also a SPECIAL offer! I got to choose three mini items of my choice for $10. The original prices on those ranged from $6-$10. These sizes are perfect for traveling, for carrying in your bag. I picked out one lotion and two shower gels. Reminder: these items are all from the Singnature Collection. My items are:

The best thing about these shower gels are the amazing softness that it gives to my skin and the long lasting delicious smells.

Now my bonus was also the coupon that will give me a FREE signature collection item with any purchase of $10 or more. Also if you pay attention to the receipt, if you call and leave feedback you get $10 off your next purchase of $30 or more. This is probably the reason why I own such a big collection from this store. Overall, it was a very succesfull shopping day!

Bubbly Bath Fun!

I am sure every girl/woman enjoys having a little time to herself to indulge in small joys like taking a bath, doing different spa treatments, and just relaxing and being pampered. For those of us who run on a tight budget, I have a come with a perfect combination that can be done at home and make you feel relaxed and refreshed. Recently while zooming through Target, I came up across an aisle that had some mask for a very very cheap price. Now, who would pass the opportunity of actually trying out a product for a reasonably low amount of money? I picked out a few from the same brand called Que Bella (the name already was tempting). The masks that I picked out were Clarify Cucumber (peel-off mask), Relaxing Lavender (aromatherapy mask), and Smoothing Chocolate (face mask). Here’s the best part. I got them for only $1.99 EACH. Tell me that is not amazing.

Before I actually review the masks I want to talk about another product which was incorporated in my bath/spa session. I love bubble baths; therefore, I love Lush and any amazing smelling bubble bars, gels, etc. I usually use bubble bars from Lush; however, my sister actually bought me this scented bubble bath gel from Forever 21. The gel is the Violette Noir which also is a perfume, but lets not get carried away. First of, I want to say that the smell is heavenly. The smell incorporates apple blossom, lily, sandalwood, and dark violet. It simply smells amazing. The bubble gel easily dissolves in the water and creates lots and lots of bubbles. The water also feels silky and nourishing. The bottle is pretty big as well, so you will be able to use it for awhile.

Now back to the masks! First, I want to say that all three were amazing. They all have delicious smell, especially the CHOCOLATE one. The lavender mask was a little to strong; however, it still smelled very fresh.  The masks are very easy to apply and remove as well. They don’t leave any marks and easily wash off. The most important part, for something that costs only $1.99 it had an amazing effect on my skin. My skin is very sensitive and doesn’t take on a lot of products. However, the mask made my skin radiant, refreshed, and glowing.

Overall, this is just a small haul blog about a fun way to relax and make your very own spa procedures. Always indulge yourself and pamper your outer and inner goddess.

Nail Polish Addiction!

Nail Polishes, Nail Polishes, Nail Polishes!

During this last year I have become obsessed with nail polishes.  Since summer is now firmly behind us, I came up with a collection of colors that I will use during this Fall. My list of favorites which I will go ahead and present to you at the end of this post is made of mainly dark reds, browns. I also included a few neutrals and shimmery colors that I personally think go great with a darker skin tones. I also like the new trend of two nail polishes ( one finger painted with a different color than the rest).  So depending on the mood you’re in, the weather outside, or simply your seasonal spirits, hope that these colors can be of use to you as well. Before I write the list, I want to also note that I actually tried every single nail polish below mentioned and loved the quality of every single one. All of them get dry very fast and don’t chip for at least a week. Tadada:

1.Avon Collection: I recently made a purchase from Avon and tried out their nail polishes. First, the quality is amazing. Colors are beautiful, the nail polish gets dry very quickly, it doesn’t chip fast, the prices were actually also very reasonable ( Got them on sale too!) . The name of my picks are:

2.O.P.I Collection: I am a huge fan of O.P.I because of the amazing quality, the humongous variety of colors, and fun/cool names (Yes, I do pick some of the nail polishes up just for the names J). The nail polishes that made my fall collection are:

3.Miscellenous Collection: A few more colors that I picked up during last month were from Essie, Revlon, and Insta-Dri. The names are:

Introduction to L'Amour Glamour

Hello Everyone,
As most of the girls who are obsessed with fashion and style, I decided to start blogging about something that I absolutely love. In our days where we have so many options in forms of clothing, cosmetics, style, and fashion choices, it is an endless maze for people who love fashion. Because I spend a lot of hours looking through different magazines, online web sites, stores, TV, etc., I thought it would actually be a good idea to share my thoughts, my passion, and my opinion with fellow fashionistas. Every week I will choose a few topics and write my ideas on them. I also greatly encourage everyone to share their opinion and ideas, ask questions, and talk about their fashion choices and style.
Need an advice on a specific outfit (prom, party, a job interview) ? Can't decide what product to use ? Want to look very good yet spend a little amount of money on your outfit?
